Beginning of chapter2

As I was reading the 2nd chapter of the The Great Gatsby the girlfriend of tom just did something bad to him. She started talking to one of tom's friend/client. But what was diffferent about this was that she made tom bring chairs for them to sit then once tom got the chairs they left tom planted. Also ms.wilson started to hang out with a rich person and she thougth herself as higher than others.
